In honor of Israel’s 72nd Independence Day, The Leo Baeck Education Center High School representative ensemble produced and recorded during the time of the Corona virus isolation – while each one of us is at home – with love and longing for return to our beloved routine. Rabbi Ofek Meir, Headmaster and Managing Director of the Leo Baeck Education Center, with members of the representative ensemble and the entire Leo Baeck community wish a Happy 72nd Independence Day to the entire State of Israel and our friends around the world.
Cecelia (Teedy) Appelbaum passed away on Friday, December 20 at the age of 97. She and her late husband, Irving, were supporters of Leo Baeck for more than 50 years. The family has asked that donations be made in her memory to support the Appelbaum Bet Tefilla at the Center.
