Every year, the Leo Baeck Education and Community Center ensures that needy families in Haifa have the food they need to celebrate the Passover Holiday.
Leo Baeck Community Center Deputy Director Samia Diab did an incredible job this past month coordinating the donation and assembly of 148 gift boxes containing Passover food for families in Western Haifa. Leo Baeck staff and too many volunteers to count donated food (including matzah, oil, sugar, coffee, canned goods and sweets), collected contributions from local businesses, and assembled the gift boxes. Delivery commenced on Friday and will continue throughout the week.
The Passover Food Drive is one of many Leo Baeck food programs that feed disadvantaged members of our community.
